Eye Photo System

Crystal is 4.4.x and newer will have the EPS functionality. The integration is designed to create or update a patient in the EPS software, and to open the corresponding patient in the camera program. Data will not be saved to your CrystalPM software via this integration. Saving data to the Crystal database is not required, and is better viewed and manipulated in the EPS software.

There are 2 button commands you can set for integration options.

These buttons will function from any computer on the network, but results will only be seen on the computer connected to the camera. Clicking the buttons on a client computer will not show any changes on that client, but will carry over to the computer with the camera.

1) Button command "Eye Photo Systems - Web" (This will create a new patient in the EPS software or update an existing patient)

a.     Records – EHR Settings – Edit Medical Record Templates

b.     Add New Field

c.     Text = Eye Photo Systems - Web

                  Type = Button

                 Command

                 CLICK SAVE!

d.     Right-click template – Add Field to Tab

e.     The first time you click the button, you will be prompted for a location (http://epsserver/emr-add-patient.php), click OK.

2) Button command "Eye Photo Systems - Web Load" (This will load the camera to the current patient)

a.     Records – EHR Settings – Edit Medical Record Templates

b.     Add New Field

c.     Text = Eye Photo Systems - Web Load

                  Type = Button

d.     Right-click template – Add Field to Tab

e.     The first time you click the button, you will be prompted for a location (http://epsserver/emr-examine-patient.php), click OK.

Next, you will be asked for the NAME OF THE COMPUTER THE CAMERA IS CONNECTED TO.
